Linen Hire
If you are short of space or
would like the convenience of finding ready made beds when you arrive at
your gîte, then let us know in advance. We can provide bed linen and towels
for an extra 10€/ person.
Internet
Access
There
is free wifi on site (wifi zone). Gite 6 has wired internet access, and gite 1
has wifi.
Washing Machine
Facilities
If
you are staying in gîtes 1, 2 or 3 there is a washing machine available to
you at a small cost of 5€/ wash (inc. washing liquid). Gîtes 4, 5 & 6
are equipped with washing machines.
Gîte
Cleaning Option
If
you could do without the bother of having to clean your gîte thoroughly
before your departure, then let us take the burden off your shoulders for
a small surcharge of 40 to 70 euros depending on the size of your gîte.
Babysitting
Service
On
Wednesday evenings, we offer a babysitting service. If you wish, we
will mind your children from 6.30 PM to 11.30 PM at a rate of 10 €/
hour. Please let us know at least one day in advance if you intend to have
a stress-free evening out!
Shopping
Essentials
If
you would like to request a starter shopping basket for your arrival with
fresh products, then please let us know a few days in advance of your
requirements. We would be happy to provide you with up to 10 items from
the supermarket/ baker at a small cost of 10€ + shopping bill.
Bicycle
Hire
We have adult
mountain bikes, mid-size mountain bikes for children from 10-14
years and smaller bikes for younger children. Bikes are available to hire for a day, morning or afternoon and can be booked one
day in advance, or at the time.
There is a
great ride around the lake starting from and finishing at Dolphin Gites. The
ride takes about 2 hours along small lanes and dirt tracks through the
countryside (detailed directions are posted on the notice board in your
gîte).
French
Tuition
If you are
interested in French lessons, then please let us know at the time of
booking, preferably in advance of your holiday. The price of lessons depends
upon the level of tuition required (from 20€ to 25€/ hour).
GCSE
French Revision (one-to-one)
Why
not combine a family holiday at Dolphin Gites with GCSE
revision for your son or daughter? We
can tailor a course of 2 or 3 hours/ day intensive one-to-one
revision during your stay - delivered by Cathy, who is an experienced GCSE examiner.
