There are 3 international airports around Paris:

 

1. Charles de Gaulle (CDG/ Roissy). 15 miles Northeast of Paris

2. Orly. 8 miles South of Paris

Charles de Gaulle Airport

Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport is often referred to by the French as Roissy Airport. It is one of the busiest passenger airports in Europe and is the largest in Paris.

Charles de Gaulle Airport is located 15 miles Northeast of Paris and has extensive road and rail links to the capital city and beyond. Getting to Paris from Charles de Gaulle is easy with RATP buses, taxis and limousines all operating from Paris CDG.

From CDG airport, it takes about 45 minutes to get to the centre of Paris, 10 minutes to Disneyland Paris and an hour to Brussels and Lille.

There are three terminals at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport - also known as Paris Roissy - which are connected by free shuttle buses. Paris CDG boasts a comprehensive selection of facilities, services, bars and restaurants for travellers heading to domestic and international destinations.

Paris by Road


Paris to Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport: A1 motorway (Autoroute du Nord) by Porte de la Chapelle. A3 motorway via Porte de Bagnolet, and then by the A1 motorway, keeping to the right.

 

The Roissy Charles de Gaulle Airport to Paris: A1 motorway to Paris, or via Porte de Bagnolet by branching off to Paris Est.

 

Parking facilities are situated in front of the terminal.

 

 

Paris by Taxi


A taxi rank can be found outside the terminal building. Journey time to central Paris is approximately 45 minutes.

 

 

Paris by Train


SNCF Train + ADP Shuttle operate between Paris and Charles de Gaulle from 5am to midnight. The rapid RER train service runs every 15 minutes (every 8 minutes during peak times) from the airport to central Paris. Journey time is approximately 35 minutes. From Terminal 2 you can take line B to Gare du Nord, Châtelet-les-Halles, Saint-Michel and Denfert-Rochereau, which have connections to the metro.

 

 

Paris by Bus


Buses depart every 10 minutes from the airport to Place Charles de Gaulle via Port Maillot. Journey time is approximately 40 minutes. Service runs from Terminals 1 and 2. Buses also run every half an hour from the airport to Montparnasse via Gare de Lyon. Journey time is approximately 50 minutes, and buses leave from Terminals 1 and 2.

 

The Roissybus runs between all three terminals at Charles de Gaulle Airport and rue Scribe (Opéra district of central Paris). Journey time is approximately 45 minutes and buses leave every 15 minutes between 6:00 am and 10:30 pm.

 

 

Orly Airport

 

Orly international airport is situated 9 miles South of the Paris. Road access is via the A6 motorway (Autoroute du Sud) by the Porte d'Orléans (A6a) or by the Porte de Gentilly (A6b). National Road 7 by the Porte d'Italie.

 

Parking facilities are situated close to the terminal.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paris by Road

 

Orly is situated 14km (9 miles) south of the city. Road access is via the A6 motorway (Autoroute du Sud) by the Porte d'Orléans (A6a) or by the Porte de Gentilly (A6b). National Road 7 by the Porte d'Italie.

 

Parking facilities are situated close to the terminal.

 

 

Paris by Taxi

 

A taxi rank can be found outside the terminal building.

 

 

Paris by Rail

 

Orly has its own rail station and is connected to both RER Lines B and C which take you to the heart of the city. RER B (orlyval) is generally quicker. Journey time to central Paris is approximately 50 minutes.

 

 

Paris by Bus

 

The Orlybus goes to Place Denfert-Rochereau RER and metro station. The Jetbus goes to Villejuif-Louis Aragon metro station. Air France coaches run to Porte d’Orléans, Gare Montparnasse, Duroc and Gare des Invalides; a service also runs between Orly and Roissy Charles de Gaulle airports.

 

The Airport Shuttle goes to central Paris.

 

Beauvais Airport

Located 80km north of Paris city centre, Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA or Beauvais Tille Airport) is a small provincial airport that now handles flights from Ryan Air and a number of Eastern European and Scandinavian budget airlines.
